One night, while searching Pinterest for an upcoming project, I stumbled upon the sweetest kids' bedroom with a canopy over the bed—and I instantly fell in love. I found similar options on Etsy, but most were custom-made and priced over $200. So, I started searching for more affordable options—and found exactly what I was looking for.

Let’s go back to 2022. We had a room next to the front door that we wanted to turn into a guest bedroom with space-saving furniture, but since we barely have guests, it mostly sat empty (or filled with boxes). The plan was to make the most of the space—using it as a guest room only when needed—and finally create a proper home office with a desk and everything. I love a good DIY home decor project, so I was up for the challenge of building one ourselves. I’ll be sharing everything we did in hopes of inspiring you to create your own small space solutions!
