A question I get asked often is about the colors in our home. So, I’ve finally compiled all the shades used in every room into one post! I’m also sharing the colors we’ve tried in the past and how sometimes it takes a few attempts to find the perfect one. I hope this inspires you to experiment with color in your own space!

One night, while searching Pinterest for an upcoming project, I stumbled upon the sweetest kids' bedroom with a canopy over the bed—and I instantly fell in love. I found similar options on Etsy, but most were custom-made and priced over $200. So, I started searching for more affordable options—and found exactly what I was looking for.

Let’s go back to 2022. We had a room next to the front door that we wanted to turn into a guest bedroom with space-saving furniture, but since we barely have guests, it mostly sat empty (or filled with boxes). The plan was to make the most of the space—using it as a guest room only when needed—and finally create a proper home office with a desk and everything. I love a good DIY home decor project, so I was up for the challenge of building one ourselves. I’ll be sharing everything we did in hopes of inspiring you to create your own small space solutions!
